Daniel Jalkut · 4 months agoIt sucks that the individual is so ignorant that he doesn't realize he would be better off under a reformed health system. But the irony of his situation doesn't approach the irony of being beaten up by somebody claiming to be fighting for health care for all.

leicaman · 4 months agoThis is no unusual or uncommon. Those who label everything they don't like socialist, are the very ones who have been brainwashed by those in power to fight things such as healthcare, real welfare reform, reduction of corporate welfare, and to fight against unions and any organization that would do them good. If they weren't brainwashed, they would be in the trenches fighting for themselves. But they took the bait and fight against their own interests on the slight hope they too will one day be rich and don't want to share any of it with others, even though others contribute to their own good fortune. (That's what being Americans means. We all benefit from the bounty this nation provides its citizens. But for now, it's separate AND unequal.
